Example Workflows

E-commerce Product Photos

Automatically process product images from a folder:
  1. Read Binary Files: Watch a folder for new images
  2. Poof: Remove background, output as PNG
  3. Write Binary Files: Save to processed folder

API Endpoint

Create an API that removes backgrounds on demand:
  1. Webhook: Accept POST with image
  2. Poof: Process the image
  3. Respond: Return processed image

Bulk Processing with Spreadsheet

The Poof node outputs binary data. To use it:

Save to File

Upload to Cloud

Return via API

Convert to Base64

Error Handling

Add an Error Trigger node to handle failures:
Common errors:
  • 401 — Check your API credentials
  • 402 — Out of credits
  • 429 — Rate limited (per-minute limit for your plan), add a Wait node

Rate Limiting

Each plan has a requests-per-minute limit (Free 4, Basic 8, Pro 12, Mega 40, Ultra 100, Giga 200). Keep the batch size at or below your plan’s limit and wait 60 seconds between batches. For example, on the Free plan:
See Rate Limit Exceeded for the full table.

Check Account Balance

Use the Get Account operation to check credits before processing:

Tips

Use Preview size for testing — It’s faster while you’re building your workflow. Every successful request costs 1 credit regardless of size.
Set up error notifications — Connect failed executions to Slack or email so you know when something goes wrong.
Batch your operations — Process images in groups no larger than your plan’s per-minute limit, with a 60-second wait between groups, to avoid rate limits.
